With extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Saurabh brings a deep understanding of fine dining, strategic planning, and team management, and he is expected to elevate the guest experience at this esteemed property.
Saurabh joined Taj Rambagh Palace as an Assistant Manager of Bar & Restaurant. His exceptional skills in cost control, customer service, and team building earned him this promotion to oversee the restaurant and bar operations.
Before joining Taj, Saurabh was with The Leela Palaces, Hotels, and Resorts, where he held roles such as Assistant Manager Food & Beverage and Food & Beverage Executive & Hotel Sommelier, acquiring expertise in inventory management, MICROS systems, and bartending. His earlier tenure includes significant experience at ITC Hotels as Sommelier Captain & Bar Incharge, as well as positions with Caesars Bluewaters Dubai, The Oberoi Group, and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, further honing his skills in fine dining and pre-opening processes.
Saurabh is also a certified Wine Steward/Sommelier, having completed the WSET Level 2 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Foodservice Systems Administration/Management from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
