Shafee Ahmed has been appointed as the Cluster General Manager at Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa Bengaluru. With a distinguished career in hospitality management, Shafee brings a wealth of experience and strategic vision to his new role, where he will oversee operations, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure the highest standards of service across the resort.
Before joining Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa, Shafee served as the General Manager at E Residences and Hotel in Chennai and at Gokulam Grand Hotel & Spa in Bengaluru. In these roles, he managed hotel operations, enhanced guest experiences, and led teams to achieve operational excellence.
Shafee's extensive career also includes his tenure as the Director and CEO of Purpletree Hotels & Hospitality Services. In this capacity, he spearheaded business growth, implemented strategic initiatives, and optimized service delivery across the company’s portfolio.
As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Asiana Hotels and The Raintree Hotels in Chennai, Shafee successfully drove revenue growth, developed marketing strategies, and built strong customer relationships. His role as the Regional Business Development Head - South India at K Raheja Hotels and Hospitality Services further showcased his expertise in expanding market presence and fostering business development.
Shafee holds a degree in Hotel Management from Asan Memorial Institute of Hotel Management and has completed further education at Malabar Christian College and the National Institute of Sales, equipping him with a solid foundation in both hospitality and sales management.
