Shambhu Singh Rao has recently been promoted to the role of Director of Housekeeping at Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Udaipur. With a solid background in housekeeping management and extensive experience across renowned hospitality establishments, Shambhu is set to lead the housekeeping operations with dedication and excellence.
Prior to this promotion, Shambhu served as the Executive Housekeeper at Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Udaipur. His exceptional performance and leadership in this role significantly contributed to his recent promotion.
Before joining Raffles, Shambhu was the Executive Housekeeper at Conrad Pune and Marriott International in Mahabaleshwar. In these roles, he demonstrated his ability to manage housekeeping operations effectively, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
His career also includes a tenure as the Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Park Hyatt Goa Resort & Spa, where he gained valuable experience in overseeing large teams and maintaining luxury standards.
Shambhu served as the Housekeeping Manager at Vana Retreats in Dehradun, where he was responsible for ensuring a serene and impeccable environment for guests. His role as Deputy Housekeeper at Royal Orchid Hotels in Jaipur further honed his skills in managing housekeeping operations.
His journey in the hospitality industry began as an Assistant Manager of Housekeeping at Ista Amritsar, followed by a role as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Udaipur. These positions provided him with a strong foundation in housekeeping management and guest relations.
Shambhu holds a degree from Saptagiri College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology. He completed his senior secondary schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya and his initial education at Maharana Mewar Public School.
