Shiv Yadav has been promoted to the position of Director of Finance at Marriott International, Kolkata, where he will oversee all financial operations, strategic planning, and financial management for the hotel. His promotion is a recognition of his significant contributions to the organization and his extensive experience in the hospitality finance sector.

Prior to this role, Shiv served as the Director of Finance at Fairfield by Marriott, Kolkata, where he played a key role in optimizing financial processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Before joining Fairfield by Marriott, he was the Financial Controller at Accor in Pune, where he managed the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the hotel.

Shiv's earlier roles included serving as Cluster Finance Manager and Assistant Manager Finance at Marriott International, Kolkata, where he was responsible for managing multi-property financial operations and assisting in the development of strategic financial plans. He also gained valuable experience as an Account Executive at Radisson Hotel Group in Indore and Prowess International in Jamshedpur, as well as in an Executive Accounts & Finance position at The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, Kolkata.

Shiv began his career as a Summer Trainee and later a Corporate Trainer at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur, where he developed foundational skills in finance and corporate training. His educational background includes a certificate in Financial Accounting and Analysis from the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru, and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from SRM University. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Ranchi University and completed a course in Computer and Information Science and Support Services from DOEACC, New Delhi.

In his new role as Director of Finance, Shiv Yadav aims to drive financial efficiency, strengthen financial controls, and support Marriott International’s strategic goals in Kolkata.
