IHM Meerut's
recent accomplishment, the National Hospitality Fest ANHAD, showcased the
institute's commitment to nurturing the talents of students pursuing hotel
management courses across the country. Held in March, this event provided a
platform for budding professionals to shine and contribute to the hospitality
industry. Sponsors like Cornetto, JoJo International, Monin, and Placement
International played a pivotal role in making ANHAD a resounding success, while
media partners amplified its reach.
ANHAD served as
a catalyst for students eager to expand their knowledge in key hotel areas such
as food and beverage production, service, front office, and housekeeping.
Culinary contests challenged participants to exhibit their culinary prowess by
creating delectable dishes from mystery ingredients. Beyond culinary arts,
events like flower decorations, Rangoli competitions, and quizzes fostered
creativity, originality, and innovation among participants.
Organized
competitions aimed not only to hone students' communication and teamwork skills
but also to foster camaraderie and personal growth. Upholding its motto of
prioritizing success, IHM Meerut continues to engage students, hoteliers,
alumni, and entrepreneurs in creating a conducive environment for learning and
interaction.
ANHAD commenced
with blessings from Maa Saraswati, followed by inspiring words from dignitaries
and a virtual tour of IHM Meerut. Renowned chefs and industry professionals
served as judges, providing valuable guidance and impartial judgment.
The event's success owes much to the tireless efforts of main coordinators Chef Sandeep Verma and Chef Sanjay Tyagi, whose dedication and involvement were instrumental in showcasing the potential and caliber of young talents.
