Sumesh's passion for culinary arts began with a Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering, and Applied Nutrition from SAMS I.H.M Varanasi. He excelled in his studies, earning top grades and laying a solid foundation for his culinary career. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany/Plant Biology from Joydeep Roy University, demonstrating his diverse academic interests and commitment to excellence.


With a career spanning several prestigious establishments, Sumesh has honed his skills and garnered extensive experience in culinary operations.


His most recent role as Executive Chef at Novotel Jodhpur ITI Circle showcased his ability to lead culinary teams and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Prior to that, he served as Executive Chef at The Earth Amritsar (Trademark collection by Wyndham), where he played a key role in shaping the culinary direction of the establishment.


Sumesh's culinary journey also includes significant stints at Mada Hotels East Africa, where he served as Group Executive Chef, and lebua Hotels and Resorts, where he excelled as Sous Chef. His diverse experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of various cuisines, culinary techniques, and kitchen management practices.


Throughout his career, Sumesh has demonstrated proficiency in menu development, cost control, staff training, and quality assurance.
