Sumit Dasgupta Promoted to Area Vice President at Swosti Group of Hotels & Resorts

Swosti Group of Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce the promotion of Sumit Dasgupta to the position of Area Vice President. Sumit, who previously held the role of General Manager at the Bhubaneswar-based hospitality group, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role. His exceptional management skills and strategic vision make him well-suited for this role.

Before joining Swosti, Sumit served as General Manager at Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited and Paulson Hotel and Resorts Private Limited in Kolkata. His deep expertise in hotel management was honed during his time as Assistant Vice President of Operations at Siesta Hospitality Services Limited, Kolkata. Additionally, Sumit gained valuable operational insight during his tenure as Area Hotel Manager at Roots Corporation Limited.

Sumit's leadership journey also includes roles as Deputy General Manager at Assam Bengal Navigation and Hotel Intourist Private Limited, as well as Unit Manager at Sodexo in Kolkata. His career began in front office management with Mansingh Group, where he held the position of Assistant Manager Front Office.

He holds an MBA in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from the National Institute of Management and is also an alumnus of Don Bosco Liluah.
