Apoorva Dungerwal assumes the pivotal role of Cluster Materials Manager at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), bringing with him a rich tapestry of experience and a profound understanding of procurement operations. With a tenure of nearly two decades in the hospitality industry, Apoorva is poised to lead the procurement function for the esteemed hotel group's properties in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

Apoorva's journey in business administration commenced at the National Institute of Business Management, where he pursued his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in International Business and Operations Management. His academic prowess was marked by exemplary performance, earning him a Grade A+ in his MBA. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, followed by a Master's degree in Commerce (M. Comm), both emphasizing management and operations.

Apoorva's career trajectory is punctuated by notable roles across renowned hospitality establishments, where he has consistently demonstrated astute leadership and strategic acumen in materials management.

His most recent stint as Materials Manager - North Goa (Cluster) at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) underscores his proficiency in spearheading materials departments, overseeing procurement operations, and ensuring seamless supply chain management. 

Prior to joining IHCL, Apoorva held key positions at esteemed organizations such as Kimirica Hunter International, ITC Hotels, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he contributed significantly to pre-opening procurement initiatives, managed imports from diverse regions, and led materials departments for various properties.

Notably, his tenure at Royal Orchid Hotels saw him heading the materials department of a luxurious 5-star hotel, along with overseeing procurement for other city hotels within the group. His accomplishments include leading renewable energy projects, annual rate contracts, and vendor development initiatives.

Before joining Royal Orchid, Apoorva honed his skills at leading hotel chains such as Concept Hospitality, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, and Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, where he showcased his expertise in pre-opening procurement, contract administration, and strategic vendor management.
