Vijayan .R Joins as Executive Chef at Four Points by Sheraton, Mahabalipuram

Vijayan .R has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Four Points by Sheraton in Mahabalipuram. With an impressive culinary career and extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Vijayan brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, promising to enhance the dining experience at the hotel.

Previously, Vijayan served as the Executive Chef at Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited in Ooty, Keys Hotels in Cochin, and Citrus Hotel in Goa. In these roles, he was responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, curating innovative menus, and ensuring exceptional food quality and service.

Before his executive positions, Vijayan was the Senior Sous Chef at Aerocity, New Delhi, and prior to that, the Sous Chef (Head Chef) in Alleppey, Kerala, at The Lemon Tree Hotel Company. His leadership and culinary skills were instrumental in these roles, contributing significantly to the success of the establishments.

Vijayan's earlier career includes his tenure as a Senior Chef De Partie at Maruthappa Chettinadu Restaurant in Singapore, where he honed his skills in traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine.

He also served as a Chef De Partie at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Mumbai and The Leela Palaces & Resorts in Bengaluru. These positions allowed him to develop a deep understanding of luxury hospitality and fine dining.

Vijayan .R holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management & Catering Science from Bharathiar University. He completed his secondary education at CSI Higher Secondary School.

With his extensive background in culinary arts and a proven track record of excellence in various prestigious hotels and resorts, Vijayan .R is set to lead the culinary team at Four Points by Sheraton, Mahabalipuram, to new heights, offering guests an unparalleled dining experience.
