Vikas Kumar has been appointed as the Executive Pastry Chef at JW Marriott Pune, bringing with him a rich and diverse culinary background.  


With over a decade of experience in crafting exquisite desserts and pastries, Vikas has held prominent roles in renowned hospitality brands. Before joining JW Marriott Pune, he served as Executive Pastry Chef at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation PJSC, working in Kurdistan and Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He also enriched his expertise as Pastry Chef at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Riyadh.  


Vikas has honed his skills across several global and domestic properties. As Pastry Sous Chef at Safir Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Regency, he showcased his flair for blending traditional techniques with innovative flavors. His earlier tenures include Chef de Partie roles at Grand Hyatt Goa and Taj Hotels in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and Jaipur.  


His journey in hospitality began with a diploma in Hotel Management from DIHM Poanta Sahib Sirmour. Vikas has also been a proud member of the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA), underlining his commitment to excellence in the culinary arts.  


At JW Marriott Pune, Vikas Kumar is set to elevate the dessert and pastry offerings, blending artistry and flavors to create unforgettable dining experiences for guests.
