Vinay Kumar Appointed as General Manager at Sunday Hotels by Oravel

Vinay Kumar has been appointed as the new General Manager at Sunday Hotels by Oravel in Jaipur. With a distinguished career in hotel management, Vinay brings extensive expertise in overseeing operations, leading teams, and driving business growth.  

Before joining Sunday Hotels, Vinay served in various senior leadership roles across renowned hotel chains. As the Vice President & General Manager at Taurus Sarovar Portico at IGI Airport in New Delhi, he played a crucial role in shaping the brand’s success. His experience as Associate Vice President and General Manager further strengthened his leadership skills in the hospitality sector.  

Vinay's pre-opening experience includes significant roles with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in Delhi and Choice Hotels International, New Delhi. These experiences allowed him to excel in launching and establishing new properties, ensuring seamless operations from the ground up.  

In his tenure as General Manager - Cluster at OYO in Gurugram, Vinay oversaw multiple properties, ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional guest experiences across the cluster. He has also held leadership positions as Director at Sewa Hospitality Services, New Delhi, and General Manager at Spree Hotels in New Delhi.  

Vinay’s career began at Shervani Hospitality Ltd., New Delhi, where he worked as Assistant General Manager, gaining valuable insights into hotel operations and management.  

He holds a PGDTM in Hotel and Tourism Management from Delhi University, an MBA in Sales and Marketing from Annamalai University, and a Diploma in Hotel Management from the School of Vocational Studies.  

With his impressive background and leadership acumen, Vinay Kumar is set to lead Sunday Hotels by Oravel in Jaipur to new heights, continuing to enhance guest experiences and drive operational excellence.
