Vivek Kumar Appointed as General Manager at Louvre Hotels Group, Shimla

Vivek Kumar has been appointed as the General Manager at Louvre Hotels Group in Shimla. With a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, Vivek brings a strong background in rooms division management and operational excellence to his new role.

Before joining Louvre Hotels Group, Vivek served as the Rooms Division Manager at Radisson Hotel Group in Shimla, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of room operations and ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction.

Prior to this, Vivek was the Director of Rooms at Radisson Hotel Group in Agra. In this capacity, he managed the rooms division and implemented strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest experience.

Vivek's journey in the hospitality industry includes a significant tenure at Marriott International in Agra, where he held the role of Director of Rooms. Before being promoted to this position, he served as Executive Housekeeper, playing a crucial role in the pre-opening phase of the hotel and establishing housekeeping standards.

His expertise was further honed at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., in Agra, where he worked as Executive Housekeeper during the pre-opening phase. Here, Vivek was instrumental in setting up the housekeeping department and ensuring smooth operations from the start.

At Radisson Blu Hotel in Ahmedabad, Vivek progressed from Assistant Manager Housekeeping during the pre-opening phase to Assistant Housekeeping Manager and finally to Executive Housekeeper. His contributions were vital in establishing and maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Vivek began his career at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts (Trident Hotels) in Agra, starting as a Guest Service Associate and later being promoted to Team Leader. These early roles provided him with a strong foundation in guest service and operations management.

Vivek Kumar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Accommodation Operation Management from IHM Kufri Shimla. His educational background, combined with extensive hands-on experience, has equipped him with the skills and knowledge to excel in the competitive hospitality industry.

In his new role as General Manager at Louvre Hotels Group, Vivek is expected to leverage his extensive experience and leadership skills to drive operational excellence and enhance guest satisfaction at the hotel.
